Whistler's Own John Ryan

One of Whistler's Top Real-Estate Agents, John who is a Paraplegic has lived and worked in Whistler for more than 20 years.

John has held the title of being The "Top Producer" with Whistler Real Estate since 1988.

John is a motivational speaker with "The Rick Hansen Institute - Role Models Resource" speaking to school children throughout B.C.

John completed a Cross Canada Tour (Sept. 11/99) in a hand cycle bike and raised over $1 Million dollars for Canadian Spinal Cord Regeneration Research.

His hobbies include kayaking, swimming, basketball. He is also passionate about handcycling which he has competed in.

Other accomplishments and Marathons include; winning the San Diego Marathon in 2000 and placing 4th and 8th place in the New York City Marathon in 2001 & 2003.

In the winter John is learning how to sit ski and has started cross country skiing through Whistler Adaptive Sports.
